Chris and Alex know how to party. If anything, that is an understatement.
I was with them for 13 hours on their wedding day and they never stopped laughing, they never looked stressed or worried. They literally just had the best day of their lives, drinking in every single moment of happiness. Even a bird pooping on Chris as Alex was walking down the aisle couldn’t faze them, all they did was look at each other and crack up.
Their day was forecast for torrential rain, but all we got was warm, gentle sun and soft clouds. Combine that with the rich, autumn colours of the Southern Highlands in May, and you’ve got yourself a cracker of a day.
It all took place at the stunning Briars Country Lodge, with florals by RedBud Floristry and that epic cake by Gumnut Patisserie. Alex wore Lisa Gowing and Chris wore Peter Jackson – not the actual people, their designs – and that jaw-dropping hair and makeup was by the one and only Michelle Mae from Mae You Be. Music was provided courtesy of George Brougham and Impression DJs.
If you like epic sunsets, adorable canine groomsmen and sparkler exits – then you’re going to want to check out this wedding!
Oh, but brace yourselves for Eagle Rock.. if you know what I mean..
